- Pottery Making & Instruction: Please wrap up your work by 30 minutes before the scheduled end time of your session. Instruction will also conclude at this time.
- Cleaning & Payment: Please complete cleaning up and payment before the scheduled end time, and ensure you leave the studio strictly on time. For safety and security reasons, students are not permitted to remain in the studio past their session time. Note: Staff will begin cleaning duties 30 minutes prior to the end of the session.

- Lunch Break: The studio is closed from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM for staff lunch breaks. Please refrain from entering during this time.
Membership Fees
- 2 Classes / month: 10,000 yen
- 4 Classes / month: 19,000 yen
- Monthly tuition fees must be paid in cash for the following month by your last lesson of the current month.
Class Make-ups (Rescheduling)
To maintain the quality of our instruction, we strictly limit the number of students per session. We kindly ask for your cooperation in adjusting your schedule so that you can attend your registered fixed class whenever possible.
【For New Members: Make-up Class Rules】
- Attendance During the Hand-Building Curriculum: During the hand-building curriculum period (foundational skill acquisition period) after joining, students are, in principle, required to attend their registered fixed class slot. This is to maximize the benefits of consistent instruction and our small-group system.
- Eligibility for Make-up Classes: You will be eligible to use the make-up system for absences after completing the hand-building curriculum.
【For Students Who Completed the Curriculum: Make-up Class Rules】
- Make-up Expiration and Conditions Make-up requests will be accepted starting from the day after your absence (excluding requests within the same month before the absence occurs). Make-up classes can be taken until the last day of the 3rd month following the month of the absence. (Example: An absence in July can be made up until the end of October.)
- Please note that you cannot take a make-up class in advance for a planned absence in a future month (e.g., taking a make-up in June for a July absence).
- However, you can book a make-up class within July for an absence that occurs in that same month.
- Rules for Using Make-up Classes (Total Monthly Classes) In a month where you use a make-up lesson, you will attend a total of 3 classes within that month: your regular fixed lessons (2 times/month) plus the make-up lesson (1 time). The order of attendance is flexible. For example, you may attend in the order of: “1st regular class → Make-up class → 2nd regular class.”
- No Re-scheduling of Make-up Classes (Important) If you are absent from a regular class during a month for which you have already booked a make-up class, that absence will not qualify for a new make-up (no re-scheduling of make-ups). Please ensure that your total attendance for that month remains “2 regular classes + 1 make-up class = 3 classes in total.” Please manage your schedule carefully.
- Notification Deadline Absences must be reported strictly by 6:00 PM the evening before your scheduled lesson. Any notifications received after this time will be treated as an unexcused absence, and you will forfeit your right to a make-up class.
- Make-ups for Weekend Classes Weekend classes are currently fully booked and highly competitive. While you can reschedule a weekend absence to a weekday class, we often cannot accommodate make-up requests within weekend slots. Please understand that this policy is in place to protect your own “fixed weekend slot.”
- Important Notes
- Make-up classes cannot be requested past their expiration date, nor can they be carried over into a month for which tuition has not been paid.
- To ensure fairness to all members, absolutely no exceptions will be made.
- To prioritize regular class members, we cannot guarantee your choice of technique (hand-building or electric wheel) during make-up sessions.
- The standard class capacity is 7 students. However, if there is an opening, we may accept up to 1 additional student for an electric wheel make-up, or if a student is following the same curriculum as the regular class.
Leave of Absence and Withdrawal
Because our studio operates on a strict reservation and seat-guarantee basis, we have established deadlines for processing Leaves of Absence and Withdrawals. Please submit a definitive notice by the deadlines below, rather than just verbal notifications.
【Leave of Absence】
- If you wish to take a leave of absence, you must notify us by the 15th day of the month prior to the start of your leave.
- Frequency Limit: You may take a leave of absence free of charge once per calendar year (January to December). (Due to seating capacity, this is limited to the first 2 applicants per month.)
- Second Leave Onwards: If you take a second or subsequent leave of absence within the same calendar year, tuition fees will still apply for the months you are absent in order to secure your seat.
- Note: You cannot transition directly from a leave of absence into a permanent withdrawal.
【Withdrawal (Cancellation of Membership)】
- If you wish to withdraw from the studio, you must submit a definitive notice by the 15th day of the month prior to your desired withdrawal month. (Example: If you wish to withdraw at the end of June, you must notify us by May 15th.)
■ Regarding Pieces in Progress
- The production process and the time required for completion vary for each individual depending on their current project.
- Therefore, if you are considering withdrawal, please consult with us as early as possible. We can plan your production schedule backwards from your withdrawal date to ensure your pieces are beautifully finished on time.
- Please allow plenty of time in your schedule when consulting with us.
【Withdrawal Procedure and Collection of Work】
- Please leave your final pieces from your last month of membership to be glazed, and visit the studio at a later date for glazing. At that time, please pay the firing fee for post-glazing.
- If you are unable to visit the studio for glazing or finishing due to personal circumstances, your pieces will be handed over in their bisque-fired (unfinished) state.
- The studio will contact you once your pieces are fully fired and completed.
- Collection Deadline: Please come to pick up your work within 2 months of being notified. Please note that due to limited storage space, any pieces or tools left past this deadline will be disposed of by the studio.
General Rules
- Our studio generally operates on a system where one instructor teaches multiple customers simultaneously. For safety management, our classes are limited to individuals aged 18 and older who can understand the instructor’s directions and work independently (including the safe use of tools).
- No video, audio recording, or taking photos is allowed during the lesson for any reason. However, feel free to take and save photos of your own finished work.
- Eating and drinking inside the studio are generally prohibited. Drinks are permitted, but please take any empty cans or containers home with you.
- You are responsible for cleaning up your workspace and the tools you used, leaving them clean for the next person before you exit.
- Pieces created at the studio may be featured as members’ work on our Instagram, website, or other media. If you prefer not to have your work shown, please let us know each time.
- In the event of disruptive or inappropriate behavior, members may be asked to withdraw from the studio.
- Please manage your valuables personally. The studio cannot accept liability for any loss or theft.
Safety Management and Disclaimer
To ensure everyone can enjoy pottery safely, we ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding the following points:
- Safety Considerations The studio accepts no liability whatsoever for accidents, injuries, or disputes between customers that occur inside the classroom or during travel to and from the studio. In particular, the area around the kiln becomes extremely hot while it is operating. To avoid the risk of burns, please never touch the kiln when it is in operation.
- Handling of Injuries The studio cannot be held responsible for accidental injuries that occur within the classroom, such as cuts from handling tools or broken pieces. In the unlikely event of an injury, we ask that you promptly seek medical attention on your own. To maintain a safe and secure environment, please understand that we cannot assume liability for any such incidents before enrolling or attending classes.
- In the Event of Business Closure In the unlikely event that continuing the studio becomes impossible due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be unable to finish and deliver pieces currently in progress. Furthermore, please understand that information regarding the return of or compensation for unfinished pieces (including materials left in our care) will be provided at that time. Additionally, registration fees and tuition fees already paid cannot be refunded. Thank you for your understanding.
- Revisions to Terms and Systems To improve studio operations, these terms and the lesson system may be changed or revised at any time as necessary. While major changes will be announced in advance, the most current version of the terms will always apply.
